Rio Rancho, NM — Tenpins & More, a cornerstone of the Rio Rancho community for over four decades, is excited to announce that ownership of the bowling center officially transferred to Mike Fagan, former PBA Touring Professional and two-time major champion.
Fagan extends his deep gratitude to previous owners Steve Mackie and Mike Miller, who faithfully served the bowlers of Rio Rancho for the past 26 years. Under their leadership, Tenpins & More became not only a top-tier bowling destination but also a vital part of the community fabric.
“We are incredibly thankful to Steve and Mike for the dedication, hard work, and positive impact they made on the community over the years,” said Fagan. “It is a privilege to carry forward their legacy while bringing new energy and investment into Tenpins & More. I am thrilled to return to the bowling industry and look forward to what’s ahead.”
Joining Fagan and the Tenpins & More team is new General Manager Rob Ballog. Ballog brings over a decade of bowling industry experience, having managed and operated centers in the Southern California and Denver markets during his tenure with Bowlero. He is a multiple-time recipient of Bowlero’s prestigious Eagles and Falcons Awards for excellence and played an instrumental role in several change-of-ownership transitions, making him a valuable addition to the team.
Looking ahead, Tenpins & More plans to honor its history as a hub for league and tournament bowlers while investing in the future through major capital improvements, including the installation of new pinspotters and an upgraded scoring system.
The tradition of competitive excellence will continue this summer with the 21st Annual New Mexico Open, scheduled for August 14th – 17th. With the help of Tournament Operator Carl Ong, Tenpins & More will welcome the best bowlers from New Mexico and around the country.
