Birthday Party FAQs
We’ve streamlined our birthday party process to make booking simple and stress-free. Below are the most common questions we receive.
Do you have private party rooms?
We do not currently have private party rooms.
However, each birthday party receives:
- Dedicated space in the bowling area, and
- Dedicated space in the concourse area, where we set up an additional table for gifts, guests, and food service.
Our layout keeps your group together while still allowing for a fun, energetic bowling atmosphere.
Can we bring in outside food or drinks?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted, with the following exceptions:
- Birthday cake
- Cupcakes
Cakes or cupcakes must be store-bought and remain in their original packaging to comply with food safety guidelines.
We are happy to store your cake for you while you bowl. If you are bringing an ice cream cake, we can keep it refrigerated or frozen until you are ready for it — just let our team know when you arrive.
All other food and beverages must be purchased through Tenpins & More.
How many guests are included in the package?
Each package requires a minimum payment for 10 guests.
If you have more than 10 bowlers, additional guests can be added at the listed per-person rate.
Final guest count should be confirmed prior to your party date.
How many lanes will we get?
You will receive one lane for every six guests in your party.
For example:
- 10–12 guests = 2 lanes
- 13–18 guests = 3 lanes
This helps ensure everyone gets plenty of turns during your 90 minutes of bowling.
Can we book a Glow Bowling party?
Yes! Any party booked:
- After 2:00 PM on Saturdays, or
- After 9:00 PM on Fridays
will automatically be a Glow Bowling party.
Start times may vary slightly depending on league and event schedules.
Do I need to order food and drinks for parents?
Our birthday packages include all-you-can-eat pizza and fries during the bowling time for paid bowling guests only.
We ask that only paid participants take part in the included food service. Parents, guardians, and additional family members who are not bowling are welcome to purchase food and beverages separately at the counter.
When should we arrive?
We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes before your scheduled start time to allow guests to check in, get shoes, and get settled.
Bowling time begins at your reserved start time.
Can we decorate?
Absolutely! You are welcome to decorate your assigned party areas.
We just ask that you:
- Do not use pushpins, nails, or tacks
- Do not use strong adhesive tape or glue that could damage walls or surfaces
- Avoid confetti or glitter
Open flames are not permitted, other than cake candles.
How long does the party last?
Standard birthday parties include 90 minutes of bowling.
Food service runs during the bowling time.
What if we are tax-exempt?
Unfortunately, the goods and services we provide (including bowling and retail food & beverage) do not qualify for any statutory exemption from gross receipts tax. We are required to remain fully compliant with applicable tax regulations.
